This is a brief presentation in Spanish of the work of the Fundación Nueva Esperanza by Guillermo Chen- FNE Director. Peace building through cultural empowerment provides the basis for the work of the New Hope Foundation (FNE http://www.fne.cosmosmaya.info), which offers multicultural and bilingual education, integrated and sustainable development of the cultural identity of the Maya Achi.
