While it is true that all doctors are dedicated to saving lives, searching for cures and developing better treatments for disease, there is one group of doctors on a very different mission; to rid the world of nuclear weapons. The International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War believe that many people around the world have been lulled into thinking that the threat of nuclear attack disappeared with the end of the Cold War. Truth is that the threat may be even greater now than ever before, and the impact would be far worse than anything imaginable.
