Senior Israel is a young teacher at a small school in Praia Do Forte, Bahia/Brazil. He takes kids out to learn surfing, and seizes the opportunity to teach his students about the ocean and marine environment. Sr. Israel found support in a group of local scientists who study Humpback Whales on their annual migration between Bahia, Brazil, and Antarctica. Kids, teacher, and scientists enjoy themselves and learn from each other to be respectful stewards of the oceans.
