This is my first visit to Revver. So nice not to see a Chrysler commercial popping up like on Youtube/Google. They have ruined youtube.
Anyway, good job, and thanks for trying to get the kids into blues, but i would say that the more classic progression with an open E tuning would be: E, D, B. Of course this sounds better using Barre chords for D and B, but as you know there are shortcuts there too. I think most of the old blues players kept it as simple as they could, and although I am sure you may be able to show me, I can't for the life of me think of a classic old time blues song that uses Am anywhere in there. Anyway, best of luck and keep the blues alive.
