Trail Vid: Upper Nooner

Sections of the Upper Nooner trail had been destroyed in a 2005 cut n’ burn operation, to promote the growth of pine in the area. However this did give us a number of possible routes down, lots of slabs and mixed technical difficulty. This video was shot 2-3 weeks after the burn, some of the snow was melting due to the heat from the smoldering ashes beneath. The 'trail' shown in this video no longer exists, however a new trail has recently (2007) been cleared, but has yet to be named.
