discharging a very large Capacitor. 150 VDC. 180 VDC surge. many amps. i put a mini brass bat across the capacitor to discharge it and it explodes. chunks of molten solder hit me in the face the first time i did this. the bat was permanently burnt black and their was indents where the metal was melted
