No Sleep 'Til Minsky's - Episode 3

Glen is (hopefully) graduating! So he's got a lot on his mind and is rushing about to get everything done. In the meantime, he presents you with two classical reels. First is a striptease by the lovely Betty Rowland, "Burlesque's ball of fire." According to the IMDB, Ms. Rowland is alive and well and owns a bar in Santa Monica. Second is a classic short by Buster Keaton entitled "The Play House." This short is probably most famous for its opening segment in which Buster Keaton - through the miracle of multiple exposure - plays everybody in the theatre at once. Buster is significant to No Sleep 'Til Minsky's, because if not for being introduced to works like The General, Glen might never have been inspired to pursue this show.
