John Wayne’s birthday was celebrated at the Newport Beach Film Festival a month early with a big party at the luxury Island hotel in Newport Beach. An open bar and great food was the perfect setting for his friends and family to get together and share stories. It was like attending a friend of the family’s birthday celebration.
