I watched your video and it was entertaining and interesting – you come over as an intelligent and perceptive person. When you got towards the end ,talking about the various ‘lies’ etc., I was a bit surprised that you seemed to be endorsing, to some extent at least, the ‘truther’ / 911 conspiracy theory ideas however you want to label them so I just want to make some comments for what they are worth.
19 amateurs with boxcutters hijacking four planes and hitting 75% of their targets.
We are invited to somehow regard that as – implausable? – incredible? – ludicrous? – unbelieveable? impossible?– I don’t know.
19: Go into the the muslim world and find 19 people willing to take part in a suicide attack on the US. You would be beating them off with a stick.
Amateurs: the people killing American troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Teach four of them to fly. Not all that easy but not all that difficult. They don’t have to do the take-off and landing , just the basic controls in flight. There are 16 year old with pilots licences. You have three years to organise it. They trained in US flying schools where I presume they can teach people to fly - and they got their licences.
You can get Flight Simulator programs on a pc and practice as much as you like.
Buy boxcutters.
Buy tickets on four transcontinental flights planes leaving at around the same time on a particular morning.
Hijack the planes. Four determined men with knives and mace against a couple of stewardesses and two pilots strapped in their seats discussing the weather.
Fly the planes back to New York and crash them into the two most prominent buildings on the skyline.
75% of their targets: thats 3 targets out of 4. I don't know what a plausible/implausible number would be in those circumstances. 2 out of 4 ? 1 out of 4? It's not easy to assess but it was the last one that failed - the passengers aware by then what was going to happen.
I can’t see the implausable / incredible / ludicrous / unbelieveable / impossible bit.
In fact it is in essence quite a simple plan as most ‘good’ plans are ,though I hesitate to use the word.
Could I ask you a question. You go to work tomorrow, as a commander in NORAD , and you get a call to say a plane has been hijacked what do you do?. Say “ It’s ok everyone, don’t worry about it. They can’t possibly hijack a plane and crash it into a building , that would be ridiculous. Anyone for coffee?”
WTC 1 and 2 falling at freefall speed. Look ,just one more time, at the towers falling and at the debris that is falling out and away from the buildings. It is falling faster than the floors.
Steel does not have to melt to loose some of it’s strength.
WTC 7: I have read the words of the fire chief who was dealing with the fires in WTC 7 where he talked about how badly damaged the building was by being hit by debris and by the fires and he was very concerned that it was going to collapse. He decided he would pull all his men out as it was too dangerous to continue fighting the fires (he used the famous ‘pull’ quite a few times) and the building finally collapsed. You will not find that on any ‘truther’ website or on any link on any truther website, which is of course part of the problem.
I could say a lot more but maybe I’ve said enough.
