We're not fans of the bloated Adobe Acrobat Reader software. Sure, it's a bit faster on a Mac than it is on Windows. But why do you even need to install Acrobat Reader on a Mac when Preview comes pre-loaded with OS X? For those Mac readers not in the know, Preview has all manner of goodness built in. It will open just about any image file and you can even do some basic manipulation of images, but that's for another Quick Tip.
