This is a very basic tutorial on how to do 2 different scene-change fades in Vegas, 1 for when you have your 2 clips on the same layer and one for when your clips are on different layers. The fade is one of the easiest yet best-looking transitions you can use in your videos. NOTE: This was done using the full professional version of Vegas 7 however the same methods should work in all the other versions as well.
