Prof. Cynthia Ning, Associate Director of The Confucius Institute at the University of Hawaii offers something very unique to our American High School Kids: a sports camp that is taught (mostly) in Chinese! She invited 30 high school kids from across the US (incl. Hawaii) to study the Chinese language by exposing the kids to various teaching methods,sports - and: the Hawaiian nature experience! This video shows some impressions of a field trip of the sports camp kids to Hanauma Bay, the famous marine nature preserve on Oahu. Jin Liu SUN, the camp coordinator, guides the kids along their way.
