Stryfe was a top player in the days that Unreal Tournament was played competitively at international events, and he was going to such events as the World Cyber Games and the Electronic Sports World Cup. Since stopping playing competitively, Stryfe has not bowed out of the gaming scene completely. He is still very much aware of what is being played at tournaments and how professional gamers live today.
