Gears of War is providing an innovation of allowing players the ability to use the environment in combat shooters. This is probably why the next Grand Theft Auto is being delayed. G4 TV's "Attack of the Show," the hosts talked about playing the new Halo 3 demo/multiplayer, but remarked that they missed not having the Gears of War innovations.
