Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala has in his capacity of head of state attended the army parade held at the army pavilion at Tundhikhel Thursday afternoon to mark Fulpati, the 7th day of Dashain festival. This is the first time in the nation’s history that the a prime minister attended the Fulpati function as the guest of honour. In previous years, the king used to observe the army parade, which coincides with the Fulpati day.
