On Saturday, November 10th, we headed downtown to attend the 18th Annual Humanities Festival. Hundreds of different events went on all over the city for sixteen days - Lectures, films, art exhibits, theater and more! This year's theme was "Climate For Concern" so a great deal of the festivities centered around Global warming, disease, sustainability, and the arts. We attended a lecture, heard the Arctic Symphony playing in Millennium Park, and saw the crocheted Coral Reef on the second floor of the Cultural Center. In the future, I will do my best to enjoy all 16 days of this annual event! Thanks to the Humanities Festival for the generous invitation. More at: http://www.chfestival.org
