Big feet instead of tie downs is not too much of a good idea. Those feet look huge and if you were to have a puppet with normal sized feet or feet similar to the puppets in nbc, you would be very restricted and your puppets would turn out irregular. Even if you would rather not use tie downs, using them can save you ALOT of hassle. Your big feet idea may work on light puppets, but what about heavy puppets that need to stand on one feet etc. Its impractical for heavier characters. Nice tut all the same!

the big feet are for puppets that are light like you said, and if you want to have it with one leg out, you can use rigs. Yeah, it does get to become a hassle after a while, but if you can't afford to get some tie down stuff, this way can work pretty well for puppets that are light. Thanks for the comment!
