French Cay is an uninhabited coral island located about 15 miles due South from Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands. The reefs here offer little protection from the prevailing ocean currents which means French Cay dives are great sites for spotting pelagic animals. The day we did this dive, it was mating season for Trunkfish, so they were around in abundance doing their courting dances.
