Breaking yet another tradition involving the King, Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala attended Basanta Srawan ceremony (recital of religious texts) on the occasion of Shree Panchami on Monday. Traditionally, king used to attend the Basanta Srawan ceremony. Prime Minister Koirala attended ceremony as the interim head of the state.
