Yes... as you can see from the dates in the video, we were in Tanzania during the attacks on 9/11. We heard about it via the Ham radio in our jeep (translated from Swahili by our guide). We are from New York, so it was very difficult for us. We were not able to contact our family and friends for days. We ended up getting stuck in Arusha for a few days as all the planes were grounded.
Ever wonder what it's like to go on an African Safari? This is not a slick video production, or an ad for a lodge or tour company. This is simply footage that I shot while on the trip of a lifetime.
