Spring has officially sprung at Squaw Valley USA, with fresh snow and excellent conditions for skiers and snowboarders. 2" of new snow fell on Tuesday and the clouds cleared Wednesday morning making for nice powder conditions and smooth turning on the mountain. Conditions for the coming Easter weekend will be exceptional with warmer temperatures and sunny skies. Squaw Valley's spring scene is well known and one of a kind. With a snowpack of over ten feet, the ski season is expected to extend into May. Spring activities are in full swing, including the High Camp Swimming Lagoon and Spa at el 8200', now open daily. Great events and a huge tent sale are on the slate; add in the Squaw Valley Spring Pass for only $179, and that means now is the time to get on up to the big mountain.
