That was funny and terrible at the same time. I can imagine it's bad enough dealing with hundreds of e-mails each day, but mails are easier to put aside for a while. If you have notecards and IMs open and waiting, it's much harder to lay them aside, especially if you need to be somewhere (like a meeting).
