Iran's 21st International Book Fair is officially open from May 2-12, 2008 with 2,000 stalls showcasing tens of thousands of domestic and international titles. Over 2,700 national and international publishers have set up stalls in the 112-thousand-meter-area devoted to this years' book fair, an event much appreciated by the Iranian people who take time off work, travel long distances and brave public transport to take advantage of this annual event.
