Solid Snake is one of the most amazing characters and story arcs that have ever came out. Sure, Hideo Kojima's storylines can be a bit wordy and tiresome at parts, but Solid Snake makes going through those confusing moments all that much more enjoyable, and what we can do through him, take out entire armies, Gears, and tanks is amazing. I don't know the ENTIIIIRE Big Boss story to be completely fair, so my view may be slightly biased in this discussion, but I find Solid Snake's story very intriguing.

I agree with you also. Without Big Boss, there would be no Solid Snake. He's very MANLY .... OH YEAH, crap, gay thought. Anyway, yeah, Big Boss is better than his son (clone).

Hmm, well I do agree with you, if you've played portable ops it helps you see more through his eyes, but I think that they're so much a like, they've lost the people they love and each saved the world, then regarded as bad guys by everyone because they're trying to help the world.
