The story of the music video is that Dylan is on her way to play her song “Suffocated” at a local coffee shop. As Dylan is on her way there, there will be flashbacks that show images of what caused her previous relationship to end. In these flashbacks Dylan suspects her lover is cheating on her because she finds clues such as explicit letters and emails. Eventually Dylan catches them in the act and the relationship ends but her lover, although apologetic, doesn’t want to lose her. Dylan has to make the decision to either forgive her lover’s mistakes and get back together or go their separate ways.
