It's been pointed out to me by the ads "randomly" assigned to this video by revver that my aquatic boyfriend is a beluga whale. NOT a dolphin. Whatever. Also, I had no idea I had so many friends who were marine mammal experts...Thank you for passing along your wisdom with constructive comments like this one: "Dumb ass, it's missing a dorsal fin! Dolphin? Puhleeze. You are a natural blonde, aren't you?" (And, that was from my very best friend!)
Anyway...it's still magical, isn't it?
Can't we all just get along?

Another correction! I finally READ the Miyajima Aquarium brochure...as I sit here putting together the Japan scrapbook, many weeks later. Those were not dolphins, but NOT beluga whale babies, either...they're finless porpoises, "...the mascot of Marine Plaza Miyajima, who show their friendly faces through the Niko window." ;-)
