Taos, New Mexico, has officially been certified as a "Fair Trade" town and on May 10th the community celebrated "World Fair Trade" with a Free "Take a Fair Trade Coffee Break" day. The designation places Taos 1st in New Mexico, 1st in the Western U.S., and 5th in the nation to join the growing number of cities, towns, and communities supporting the "Fair Trade" movement.
