Boaters brave the Eagle River below the town of Minturn in the central Rockies of Colorado Friday. The river is flowing at more than 600 cubic feet per second after recent warm weather has accelerated the runoff of the state's record snowpack from last winter. Rescuers are warning all but professional rafters and kayakers to stay out of the water for the next few weeks, so if you go, go with a guided outfit.
