The Viewpoint between Kata-Beach and Karon-Beach / Rawai-Beach is a popular destination for tourists. In the night this streets are deserted and street light is not available here. Take care, as a lot of burglaries / shootings / stabbings occur. Do NOT ride this street between Kata / Karon and Rawai in the night alone on your motorbike. You will be the perfect aim for a robbery, especial when you had a few beers. Kata-Karon-Viewpoint is a very nice place in daytime. You have a nice view over the beaches of Kata-Noi then Kata and then Karon. You can even see Patong-Beach at the far end.
